I call it the tax reform swindle
We continue to see the real & dramatic consequences of the GOP’s tax bill. While giving big breaks to the wealthy few, it grew our country’s deficit by 77% in the first 4 months of the fiscal yr compared to the same time last yr. its failure to provide any significant benefit to the population as a whole. It shovels loads of money to the rich and to corporations, stiffs residents of New York and California etc., and dribbles a little (to end in 2027) to some. 2/

All that shortfall is funded by the gov’t taking on extra debt, which needs to be repaid in the future — with interest. I hope Trump supporters are happy committing their children to repay trillions of $$$ of debt, just so billionaires today get even more $$$.
