Veterans accounted for 14% of all deaths by suicide in the US though they make up only 8.1% of the population.

Just last week, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America placed 5,250 flags at the Washington Monument to honor the # of vets who've committed suicide so far in 2018 alone.

We don't have to accept this devastating statistic as the norm. We must do everything we can to strengthen the health care system that welcomes back our Vets and be sure they have access to mental health care.
