Faso has made the false accusation - very false accusation - that when I was doing music I denigrated women. That couldn't be further from the truth. Nothing about my music ever did so - it was all about empowering women.
I take real issue with him playing with those words, particularly when you look at his track record & see what he has done in plain sight that undermines women's reproductive rights & women's equality. He's outdated when it comes to this point of view & he is of the past.
On the #MuellerInvestigation and #Russia, it's important to realize we're under attack right now. We were attacked & we're still under attack. We've got to step up and pass bipartisan legislation that protects the investigation and #Mueller.
Faso says investigation is important but I haven't heard him say anything about protecting #Mueller. Instead I hear him say he understands the impatience people have with the length of an investigation that has produced over 30 indictments and a number of guilty pleas.
We have to remember that Congress is a coequal branch of our government. It has an obligation to push back rightfully so and justifiably so.
