Asked about the environment, told @AlanChartock that first and foremost we must understand that #climatechange is real. It is a real crisis and we have a moral imperative to fix it. But beyond that we have got to get off our addiction to fossil fuel.

Faso is on the wrong side of this issue. He voted a number of times while in the
#NYS Assembly no on equal pay for equal work. He called#roevswade a black mark on the country. He has also attempted to defund@PPFA after promising the community he would not.Show this thread -
Faso has made the false accusation - very false accusation - that when I was doing music I denigrated women. That couldn't be further from the truth. Nothing about my music ever did so - it was all about empowering women.

I take real issue with him playing with those words, particularly when you look at his track record & see what he has done in plain sight that undermines women's reproductive rights & women's equality. He's outdated when it comes to this point of view & he is of the past.

Faso says investigation is important but I haven't heard him say anything about protecting
#Mueller. Instead I hear him say he understands the impatience people have with the length of an investigation that has produced over 30 indictments and a number of guilty pleas.Show this thread -
We have to remember that Congress is a coequal branch of our government. It has an obligation to push back rightfully so and justifiably so.
