I was trying to figure out how to reach folks on the margins who feel disenfranchised from the system and pull them in and get them engaged and get them to take their voices seriously and to be heard.

I spoke about income inequality. I spoke about wealth disparity. I spoke about misogyny. I spoke about climate change. These are the things that I focused on relentlessly back then and I'm proud to be able to continue that mission now right here at home.

I think what is controversial is during your first term in office not having a single public town hall. What's controversial is promising your constituents that you will not defund

And what is seriously controversial is looking at a young woman in the eyes on camera and promising three times to a woman who is suffering from a brain tumor and a spinal condition that you will not take away her healthcare.

Faso promised her then turned around and voted for a bill that does just that. That is controversial. At the end of the day, it's a distraction.
