This reads more like a clumsy attempt at expressing their opinion/ showing they’re informed and knowledgeable (when they’re not) than “I know better why you no do it right” But I have the luxury of assuming best intentions bc I’m not bombarded by these kinds of responses :(

Ask yourself why he felt the need to do that, though.

So much for an open discussion I guess. I meant no disrespect AT ALL. Never did. Never will. Neither did I imply I knew better. Nor has this ANYTHING to do with gender. Never did. Never will. I will retract my comment, cause obviously I'm in the wrong forum for this kind of talk.

uhm, what exactly has his tweet to do with you beeing "a female game dev"?
-
She didn't say his tweet was because she's a woman. She said it's typical of her experience as a woman in game dev. You don't know what her mentions look like. The questioning of women's professional competence is a pretty well-established phenomenon.

I won't comment about how you do your job, but I can comment about that you have slight problems with reading comprehension, if this is what you took from his comments.
