I think this is way off. Trump tap into something lying dormant. A culture of conspiracy and lies were way out in the open for 20 years on the most watched “news” network. Not having the skills to engage with it was how we landed in trump. Only comedians had the competence..

To effectively call it out. Unfortunately we live in information bubbles and the people being made fun of were able to tune out what they thought of as liberal rhetoric. So why should we lean back into the bubbles that got us here? Maybe social media engagement is not effective..
