What exactly is the Texas Republicans game plan? Do they really want to secede and set up their own country? Questions need to be asked. This can’t be ignored and simply forgotten.

There is no game plan. The TX GOP is playing to their increasingly more radical base. Allen West (GOP Chair) is a convicted war criminal and the house rep that is pushing for succession is a hardware store owner. Good leaders cannot gain traction due to extremism.

Trump, meanwhile, has been distributing pardons to his allies like candy. Paxton’s suit makes more sense as pardon-bait than it does as a legal document. And he may need presidential clemency to escape the federal criminal charges that could be imminent.
