I know I live in a pr reality and not the real world but can @NYCMayorsOffice clarify what shelter in place means for 9 million people about to make a run on the grocery store and bank? Like will we be allowed to get food, meds, money? Run solo in the park? Enter the city?
The @NYCMayorsOffice should also mention that @NYGovCuomo must approve.

This is from a half-remembered law class 19 years ago, but I believe NYC is home rule when it comes to public health, quarantine laws? (See, you can't wait for a horse to get to Albany & back...) Anyone follow a good lawyer on this? Or, like, *a* lawyer? Legal historian?
