@delpercios you show lack of understanding of public finance. Foregone tax revenue has the same bottom line impact as spending. Subsidizing low quality service jobs is justified only if there are no higher quality jobs possible. -
Economic impact estimates of such subsidies are typically unrealistically optimistic. Amazon set up a bidding war to get localities to provide sweetheart deals when those localities should have explored better possibilities.
