Call me old fashioned, but I’d like to have senators actually read the FBI report rather than farming it out to staffers before a Supreme Court confirmation vote.

Let’s stop pretending the report isn’t a farce, given the public information that was deliberately excluded from it, so that it could not be “officially” considered.

I get sometimes when something comes fairly quickly and the bill is 700 pages long, you have to parse it out. They’ve know for a week that it was coming. They should clear their schedule and been prepared to read it. It can’t that long, the FBI had a limited scope.

How about write the legislation ? You know, like doing their jobs? How many Jeffersons , Madisons and Hamiltons are currently in the Senate or Congress? How many of them can write a book without a ghost writer ?
