I mean they’re using the data from the Bureau of Justice Statistics. By all means I’d love to see this survey replicated, but as of now it hasn’t been, by either “side” of this debate.

Criminal justice reform candidates have been winning elections. It’s not a pro-crime perspective to want to fix a system that just expands trauma and costs money. You’re welcome to be entrenched in your ways, just realize a lot of people aren’t going to go along with those ways.
