Great stuff, as always, Mr. Degen. Is there an info in the study which income amount is considered as the low income?

The paper uses different criteria over several studies, self placement in some, so here is just one operationalization.pic.twitter.com/ZrkhXxT7p8

Do we not buy material goods for the experience they provide us?

Rich people already have enough stuff. Poor people need more stuff.

Yeah, I prefer goods over experiences. I don’t enjoy the fleeting return on investment with experience purchases. You get memories, but so what. Mini-trips, concerts/shows, and dining out doesn’t compare to new clothes, books, electronics, etc. I’ve always been thrifty though.
