The article isn't about antidepressant but about psychotherapy, especially the frontrunner, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). In my view, the data about antidepressants do look a bit better, but only little.

Article is not critical of psychotx but of research that posits that CBT is superior to other modalities. The evidence for efficacy of talk tx in general is overwhelming and replicable.

Thanks. Now I’m depressed. It seems that AI robots aren’t the only thing I should fear in my future role as a psychotherapist. There are so many scams in our world why not CBT? Although maybe this “study” isn’t so evidenced based either.
