Lol, empathy is actually very rare. It's the ability to imagine yourself in another person's stead. Sympathy's the common one, and it has limits that are poorly understood.

I don't find the debate about free will fertile. Its rejection always boils down to some version of determinism. But determinism can't be proved to be true. It is an evolved cognitive reasoning tool of our mind. Must not be true.
