The interpretation that microaggression is a cultural concept, and not a natural kind, is supported by the fact that we here in Germany (and surely many other countries too) do not even know the word.

So based on the study, is it safe to say that microaggression correlates to a particular political leaning? And if so, is it possible draw party line based on this attribute? i.e. I don't believe is microaggression (or microtransgression for that matter) there fore I am party A.

Yes and no. In general, liberals are more likely to have higher microaggression perceptions, but both groups just as likely to see microaggression when looking at specific groups (gender, for example).

"Microaggressions" are also in the eye of the CONSERVATIVE beholder, as

The method and results show that identifying microaggressions is correlated with political alignment. You could just as easily say "Conservatives are blind to microaggressions" if you're keen to overinterpret but aren't fussed about the direction

Considering microaggressions are the practice of putting words in other people’s mouths and being offended by what you imagine they’ve said, I don’t think it’s really a bad thing if either side is “blind” to them. More unfortunate that so many are hypersensitive and narcissistic.
