Depends on whether one defines suicide by subjectivity. If the definition is purely behavioral -- self-inflicted lethal violence -- this doesn't really matter.

Might even be arguable how many humans can really conceive of their own non-existence. Most people seem to think they're going to continue existing in heaven or someplace. I've seen suicide notes saying "I'll miss you."
