Interesting re: the first paragraph-- does this imply that women are implicitly considered a "high-status group"?

Shouldnt men and women equally have a bais towards the opposite sex, since tribalism between the sexes will not be evolutionary benefit?
-
I think it's unclear whether female-female tribalism is not of evolutionary benefit. It may be of benefit for survival, especially given current narratives and environments, versus mating.

This may be argued inasmuch as disrespect might predict lower mating success. But it also depends what we mean by respect which is a complicated phenomenon. It's unclear that social conservatism disrespects women apart from the liberal definition of what that looks like.

So how does this proffered "sex drive" explanation account for well document gender bias in pre-pubertal children, not having "grown out"/"negotiated the developmental stage" of which was long postulated as explaining homosexuality in both genders?
-
You're suggesting prepubertal makes favor same ages female peers? Can you link to this? I'm curious.
