Regardless of their party identification, women are more supportive of an activist government. http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/asap.12144/full …pic.twitter.com/grGN2w0D8u

Because a more activist government can provide more security for women, reducing their dependency on men/husbands.

Also, women receive more transfer benefits than men over a lifetime. So this may not be completely unselfish.

The fact that this "pay gap" doesn't have its day - nor the related death gap - may mean government-endorsed pay-gap feminism is neither completely "equal" nor completely unselfish.

It's also at odds with the "bevolent sexism" rhetoric that pretends to be science. Women - who turn more conservative during marriage - don't have false consciousness; they differentiate and optimize their returns in constellations and trades that don't show being exploited.

That’s why the suffrage for women contributed to an ever bigger state.

You'll find that 'women' is not a homogenous category of identical beings all holding the same views on everything. Although I can understand why it's easier for evo-psych pseudo-scientists to believe that they are.

Not all vote that way, some of us believe in limited government and limited taxation. I suspect a smaller proportion of women are confident about fishing for their own dinner and that determines the split.

Not surprising. Did any man ever get laid in an anarcho-libertarian gathering? Women rarely embrace the free market

It would have made more sense if "ideological leanings" was addressed rather than "party identification". This would have made it clear that anyone who favors more government at all, is more likely a statist, rather than those who want less involvement of government.

I think it's a little bit exaggerated. The situation simply was calmed down, and, #author when someone wiped the tears caused by someone else, what is the problem to take a sit.
