If their test is reliable and valid, they should be glad to show their data. Comparisons to Coates are irrelevant.

We're happy to share our data! In fact, we hired a full-time researcher to upload + maintain our major datasets from ~12 million people. See data here: https://osf.io/y9hiq/ . Many of our specific datasets are available at our respective websites (e.g., https://calvinklai.wordpress.com/publications/ )

A valid, reliable test like the WISC4, has a well written summary showing evidence of reliability and validity right in the manual. Do you have that?

Nope, because the IAT is not a clinical diagnostic tool like WISC4. The IAT is first and foremost a research tool. Greenwald has a public page covering most known validity issues: http://faculty.washington.edu/agg/iat_validity.htm …

If the IAT is foremost a research tool, this misuse should never have happened. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=2973892 …pic.twitter.com/0023IUgSZy

Let's see if I understand this therminology - I would say the psychology of implicit helps to put someone in a determined context; the explicit is when someone makes an effort to subscribe in a determined context.

When I say the IAT is a research tool, I only mean it was validated by examining grp-level correlates (for research) rather than by predicting outcomes for specific people (clinical diagnosis). Public use of IB research is an issue distinct from the IAT not being a clinical tool
