Leftists don't hide political opinions. They force them on you. And you can't have a dispassionate debate with an emotionally irrational person. Conservatives think Liberals are stupid. Liberals think conservatives are evil.

In a sense, the real danger of "political correctness" on all sides. People don't say things that could offend other people, and in so doing, feeds misperceptions, again on all sides.
