True,, but youth is not an indicator of (good) genes. Everybody has it, until it's gone. WRH was thought to reflect good genes.
You can be young and have a genetic disorder but youth is always a cue for health, fitness, vitality. That's what it's read as.
Ecology variables could may play some role. Or, perhaps, youth is at stake, not exactly health or fertility (nubility mean that, right?)
