How can they be certain it's intuitive when you're not going to be able to find subjects who haven't had inculcation in some kind of rules structure approximating laws, if not a legal structure itself? What's the control group?

I would that some groups would have developmental psych average differences, and would therefore have different intuitions about justice. Also, I'd expect genetic differences in morals and therefore justice.

Except Hammurabi’s law was a breakthrough- Looks modern because it invented our most of modern jurisprudence. Bit like seeing people can point to the wings on Wright flyer ergo airplanes r biological intuition. We have intuitions, but law is also as much an invention as physics
