Misleading headline, implies that older drivers cause more crashes, but the data show that the crashes involving older drivers are more severe because of the relative fragility of these older drivers. In a crash, more likely to suffer severe injuries than younger drivers.

I worked out in a retirement town for about 6 months. I've never seen so many wrecks and fender benders in my life. A lot of them fatal. There without question needs to be a remedial driving test at 70-75. Driving on public roads and highways is a privilege, not a right.
