I spent 7 hours on a bus today, did a lot of counterfactual thinking. A lot. I also thought about my mom in that same way as you. It is emotionally exhausting and pointless to do this, but I can't help it. :(

The counterfactual road thinking. Interesting finding on how they have more tendency to lie as they're more likely on the look-out for what lies at the end of the road not taken.

Make sense, people who do support populists often do ignore facts or distort them ... for them it’s more important to have a nice bubble than understanding reality ... the could also be called anti- or pseudo-realists ...
