That “nearly” makes huge difference;)

The biggest problem is that most people believe the opposite of what the author writes.. At least as far as it concerns "other people".https://twitter.com/DegenRolf/status/851385787128180737?s=20 …

you persuade the masses by understanding what they feel, articulating those feelings (and giving reason for them) and amplifying them.and finaly offering solutions.

It's a zero sum game, only a few succeed and you need influence, power, money and people to do it. Even if there were a perfect way to persuade people and many would apply that knowledge, only a few people would succeed and the rest fails. A part of it is hype and momentum.

Propaganda, pseudoscience, philo-sophism, and religion can all make people aware of opportunity for gain and provide(moral) justification for seizing it. But people seek to acquire:experience, consumption, capital, associations, status - and so political action requires rewards.

Tell me more about Propaganda. I’ve always felt I was using the tool for good. The understanding of human nature, geared towards “good profit” not evil power. Had it all just been survival? I’m a marketer, so I need to know :)
