That's what makes me skeptical of these types of studies. Anyone can say they are giving up meat, and then quickly give in to a craving. I'd be very interested in the lengths of adherence before someone is x percent likely to remain veg, etc.

Only 2% of Americans self report to be vegetarians or vegans, a number that has not increased in 20 years, despite the propaganda from my colleagues, who themselves eat blood sausages for breakfast incidentally. That says a lot.

On top of this, there's another inconvenience that's never properly addressed in vegan activism: that vegans and vegetarians depend on hunters for their food just as much as omnivores who eat the wild game they hunt.

Maybe not as much as meat eating hunters or those who eat factory farmed meat, but they still do. And at the end of the day, if it's all murder, killing a dozen beings doesn't give you real high ground to righteously judge killing 2 dozen.
