Was this checked by race? Because Black Women tend to value curvy bodies just as much as their men do, while Asian women tend to value petite/thin bodies just as much as their men do. Its only with Caucasians where there seems to be a gender difference in ideal bodies.

White women have always thought that men liked women thinner than they really do. That said, there is a difference between curvy and overweight and I've noticed a spike in women who are overweight referring to themselves as curvy when they're not.
