Religion never disappears - it's just that university educated elites are much more prone to convert to the new dominant/ascendant religion/belief system/moral framework. In the West this roughly applies: Catholicism -> Protestantism-> Secular liberalism -> Progressivism

You forgot environmentalism. Has strong affinity to Haidt' s purity foundation that drives classical religion. Also creates food taboos (eg vegetarianism), also rampant in old religions.

The impact appears to just be on IQ scores with pick up various things along with general mental ability. This is extremely culturally contingent. Universities are overwhelmingly dominated by atheistic metaethical systems. If you took the same measurements in 1300 when higher education was religious in temperament, you would likely see different results.
