Hear, hear. I've considered how laws have been written, societies shaped, in part, by what the collective deems disgusting (i.e. bestiality, etc.) And as disgust, in large part, is a biological mechanism, our biology, then, determines (influences) our laws.

I've considered this point when traveling and noting the places with higher traditional masculinity (Russia, Uganda) also happen to be those with the strongest anti-gay laws.

This isn't to side either way on such laws, but to see clearer the ways such laws come to be and what needs to be overcome by these societies to overturn such laws. They'd have to agree their biological reactions ought not always align with law.
