Your basic argument hinges on one of the oldest psychological myths, which has been refuted by a large body of evidence over decades - that people are easily influenced. We are built by evolution not to be easily influenced.

Your basic premise is the fear that this stuff could have bad effects. While the available data show that it does not. Which is a boring repeat of an old pattern rising with every new medium. Take away the fear mongering and the emperor is naked.

I don't trust the classical media. Science communication is abysmal. Largely restricted to stuff learned from press releases from few institutions/media, the (demonstrably) don'r report when findings are disproved/retracted, and a lot more.

Again, this is only relevant if it were shown that people get bad information eggs. It isn't shown. Also an egg vetting system for information has an Orwellian undertone. Who is given the power?
