Your basic argument hinges on one of the oldest psychological myths, which has been refuted by a large body of evidence over decades - that people are easily influenced. We are built by evolution not to be easily influenced.

Well, at least Google searches have been proved to overwhelmingly supply the same results to all. And I don't want the old word back, my info universe has expanded wonderfully. And I don't believe others to be dumber than me.
