Given the empirical status, I stay by my statement that echo chambers are an intellectual invention. So do many leading scientist. I have dozens of sources.

Your basic argument hinges on one of the oldest psychological myths, which has been refuted by a large body of evidence over decades - that people are easily influenced. We are built by evolution not to be easily influenced.
