Men with lower IQ have far fewer offspring, questioning the ‘dysgenic deterioration' of the population, at least for Sweden. https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/full/10.1098/rspb.2019.0359 …pic.twitter.com/dr0hu9pAPd

Women with higher IQ have far fewer children. They balance each other out to some degree, but dysgenic trend still mostly dominant. https://jaymans.wordpress.com/2014/07/28/idiocracy-can-wait/ … @JayMan471

Fertility x IQ correlation is not a good measure of dysgenics. If low IQ ppl have children at 1.5 x the rate (due to having children when younger), all else being equal they will have 1.5x grandchildren

Under 76 is like, disabled low IQ I think it would make much more sense to look at "below average" vs higher percentiles, cause of course the mentally disabled won't be having lots of kids

Sweden’s generous parental leave gets better the higher you are on the social structure. Also, the work structure is very accepting of taking time to take care of family. Together they reduce the conflict career-family that affects high IQ/high achievers.

Perhaps this agrees with dating-app research showing that 80% of women are competing for the top 20% of men?

But isn't the military IQ test a really bad proxy for measuring intelligence? When I had to show up for conscription, I'd gotten ~3 hours of sleep and did not put any effort into it whatsoever, because I knew it didn't matter unless I performed very poorly.

That makes sense for men. The question is does it go the other way for women, and if so, is the correlation larger or smaller? There might still be an overall negative correlation, no? (I realise you only wrote 'questioning')
