For those trashing this literature, this is worth a closer read. The scale, detail, openness, and honest consideration of hypotheses by those very close to the research is truly impressive.

As to Nosek who's a figurehead of the reproducibility movement, I wouldn't have expected less. It will be interesting to see IF & how Greenwald & Banaji, vociferous originators of the IAT will respond. And all those scam artists making a quick dollar selling "tested" trainings.

Glad to see more research done on this, but there have been numerous previous studies that already foubd implicit bias training to be BS.

The IAT was always trash. Anyone who actually took an IAT would've known it couldn't measure what it claimed to and it was unreliable. It was forced upon people because academics are in love with the concept of "implicit bias."

Can this be translated that discrimination is caused mostly by explicit and rational behaviors, and thus that tackling incentives network will be the only solution to fight discrimination?

Fascinating. So, if efforts to alter implicit biases are of little utility, do effective interventions lie in the space between the first thought and first action?
