I use clenched fists as a proxy to reliably detect (and then cure) subconscious fear, dread & #FearOfFlight .
Actions such as bending over, crossing arms and clenching fists, positively feedback to pump-amplify these feelings. Mirroring others' postures achieves the same result

My default neuro/biological setting is up the anxious end of spectrum; I often pinch finger & thumb to try and transcend my system 1 thinking and bring my focus back to the moment & the immediate issue.
