If CBT is a psychotherapy then this meta-analysis is wrong.

The metaanalysis is wrong bc there's too much heterogeneity across treatments. Eg dbt isn't delivered the same way at all across treatments centers since it's popularization. To lump all dbt treatment centers together then isn't showing anything at all.

There is no treatment specific to add or conduct disorder I'm aware of. Depression and anxiety are too general of terms to be studied at such low levels of resolution. Depression comes in many forms for many reasons as does anxiety. 1/2

Lumping these together to test specific Tx or looking at generalized Txs doesn't tell you much. Also its increasingly understood these are often, especially in youth, just symptoms of deeper underlying pathologies. Worse still, most treatments are not delivered identically. 2/2
