I mean mindfulness is what makes dbt and schema therapy work in the first place... It may be overextended by people trying to buy into some kind of hype or something but your comment is inappropriately judgemental.

In my view, the worst thing about the mindfulness research is that it has extremely badly chosen control groups, eg waitlist, setting the bar so low that you can not lose the rigged game.
