But it's certainly reasonable that some behaviors change on average in response to hormonal changes -- hormones mediate behavior after all, and humans don't occupy some abstract space beyond physical influence, despite what we'd all like to believe.
sure but that's a reason to look for hypotheses to test, not to believe some that sound 'intuitive' or 'plausible'. Most of the popular ones don't replicate. If you want huge influences in behavior due to non-abstract hormones, there's this thing called puberty.
