Why is voting not rational? It seems perfectly rational to act in such a way that, if everyone else were to act accordingly then the world would be no worse a place for it. This is how we know right from wrong.

In short, the odds your vote is critical are slim. Conversely, To abstain from voting means others decide for you. I say vote like your vote counts. Look at what happened in NY. People DIDN'T vote and A. O-Cortez won. The people who Abstained are subject to the consequences.

I think that it is rational to vote, mostly because it is the way our society works. While it is true that one single vote won't change the result of the election, if no one voted the system wouldn't work. Thus if you want democracy to work it would be rational to vote.
