The term projection here smacks of an inaccurate reading of the risk- to the contrary I would think Machiavellian types have unique insight into inpassionate and high general intelligence agents.

.That's also not the problem. The problem is the unpredictability of outcome given neurally neutral set of logics operated on a set of variables over a unique logical predication. Consequens of logical operations could be negative to us, but not to the AI.

People don’t like to consider the attitude of an AGI will be partially dependent upon morality of societies & their actions. People like to place blame upon the inherent nature of advanced intelligence, instead of being responsible for when things go awry
