If Wikipedia doesn't lie to me, the meta-analysis did find a small effect in a feeling of power from power posing. So "improving feelings of power" part does not seem implausible.

The overwhelming majority of replications failed, at one time a dozen at one strike, and the original study was-hacked. Nothing left there.

For "weight shift and type of walk," they got p < .00001. If people around you think you're powerful, you'd probably feel more powerful yourself.
