Some commenters took issues with the term "conquer a woman". It is absolutely standard in German (eine Frau erobern) and, though having had its ups and downs, still widely used in English books.pic.twitter.com/HOxsNhK1fE

This just isn’t true. In simple hunter gatherer societies, women choose who they wish to marry and divorce. Men use skills such as providing gifts of Honey, singing or storytelling to win the approval of the women they hope to win over. There is an abundance of evidence on this.
According to the theory - which I personally hesitate to adopt - arranged marriages emerged with the advent of agriculture. But to my knowledge, it did not exist in Ancient Egypt - Egyptians were free to deliberately choose a mate.
Conquer?? It’s not about conquest, it’s about female choice. If you are thinking about conquest, that’s why you are not chosen...
I stopped reading at "Flirting skills were irrelevant because men did not have to flirt with women"
In many cultures they didn't, particularly those where women had little-to-no say on who they want to be with.
You probably want to rethink the word “conquered”.
