Not true. "The Princess and the Pea" puts much more focus on how hypersensibility is proof of how you're born. The princess knocking at the gate has walked the storm alone. That was adverse. And yet her trait remains and can be shown.
I thought the point of that fairytale was that being distressed by the pea was the mark of the princess, hence something to be proud of
