I would be more concerned about the 1/3 that KNOW they are below average.

Surely this could be possible (if the average is a mean). Eg if 3 people have respective IQs of 70, 120 and 140, the mean average is 110. So two-thirds are indeed above average.

Yea but when it comes to IQ among a population, the scores are usually normally distributed with mean, median and mode being roughly the same

"The least intelligent are the most overconfident." So if you know someone who loves to brag about his or her intelligence, there is a good chance that such person is among the least intelligent.

It’s actually possible and probable when adding “...Trump voter/supporter” after “average”.

Assuming the less-educated are mostly exposed to other less-educateds, their 50% _in their reference group_ seem to be spot-on. And if more-educateds have a view on the whole society, their higher number is not unrealistic either. So the average 65% doesn't seem too bad to me.

Is Intelligence not too often confused with educated? I know a few really educated people that can't open a tin of beans :)
