This tweet may surprise many, because you NEVER read anything critical about vegetarians in the media, as journalist, though they eat blood sausages for breakfast, for some quirk in character, turn into veggie evangelists the moment they write articles. And into teetotalers!

Unflattering? Well, some of these seven truths are quite flattering. Is it "unflattering" to be educated? Yikes.

The 7 unflattering truths are in my linked Google+ text, not in the Tweet.

Let me just mention, that you really need to distinguish ethical vegans from vegetarians. People are getting vegetarians for number of bs reasons like "health", indian religion/philosophy views, diets etc. and it makes vegetarians unsustainable in views.
-
I'll speculate, that if you will try to collect same data for ethical vegans, you will see, they are much more educated, less religious and less likely to relapse to meat eating than vegetarian/vegan group.

The wording could easily be interpreted as implying that it is unflattering to be an atheist or a woman.

Last time I looked at studies I came away with the impression that women were more likely to be religious.
