being active in both artistic and scientific fields, the general finding agrees with my experience (and therefore my biases), but I wonder if there is a difference in variance between different domains of artistic achievements, because the study's definition of art is... broad.

More like, genes associated with glorified short term memory tests (IQ and the like), are generally more associated with intellectual breadth, but fail to indicate individual differences in peak performance with high age related variance.....27 Club, thank me later.
