It has been announced that #VEDay75 events in London with veterans will no longer go ahead due to #Coronavirus. I suppose, compared to running up a Normandy beach under shell, mortar and machine gun fire, then having to slog for nearly a year into Germany being shot at all the time... I'd take a few months of shut pubs over that. We can remember
