Love seeing my dear friend in this story. When we first met in 2017, my faith in our democracy post 2016 election was gone. Deeqo's story reminded me why I got involved in campaigns; to elevate the voices of true community advocates.

We need only ask who moved to America 🇺🇸 after escaping the Civil War in Somalia back in the 1990s. Our streets in Chicago, New York, and Boston must no longer have violence that mirrors wars overseas. We need strong leadership to help build peace.

We must get to know our neighbors. Boston need someone who understands how to navigate public policy. Government can be confusing, so we need someone like who has a vision, based on her lived experience.

I had a wonderful time canvassing and talking to voters this weekend! I love learning about the issues facing our community because the best way to learn how to help people in our community is to ask them what they need!

I am honored to be endorsed by Massachusetts Voters for Animals! MVA and I share a common goal: animal protection. If elected City Councilor for District 4, I will ensure the city has adequate animal protection laws to make Boston a safe home for all animals
