    The point I tried to get across was I appreciated how Mayor Pete was bold enough to ask for a publicly released report on racial economic inequality that would highlight many of the city's problems. Many politicians try to hide problems rather than bring them to public light.

    Well, Time Magazine quoted me in their cover story on Mayor Pete Buttigieg. I like how issues of racial economic inequality and candidates positions and history on this issue are being featured in the analysis of all the Democratic Presidential contenders.

    In US metropolitan areas, 10% of neighborhoods are majority black and they are home to 37% of the US Black population. In these areas Black homes are valued at roughly half the price as homes in neighborhoods with no Black residents.
